EQUITY LAW FIRM’S PROFILE
Equity Law firm is a student’s chambers founded in year 2000 by a group of revolutionary law student led by Kunle Adaramola. Their vision was to create a new order for the study of law with the philosophy that the 21st century legal profession will not only be shaped by the ability of law students to pass their exams in various courses but also their ability to use excellent research and advocacy skills to tackle contemporary legal issues.
Among other things, ELF does the following:
Development of advocacy skills among members.
Participation in law based competitions.
Representing students at the LASU High Court and Court of Appeal.
Aiding success habits of partners.
Organizing symposia and lectures towards nation building and legal development.
Representing Nigeria in international moot/mock court trials

2006 Michael Abiodun Thomas and Adetutu represented the School at the AFRICAN MOOT COURT COMPETITION in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia, where Micheal won the best African Oralist
2007 Tolu Odupe represented LASU at the AFRICAN MOOT COURT COMPETITION in Senegal and performed excellently
2007 Tolu Odupe and Yeku Ibrahim represented the school in THE CLIENT COUNSELLING COMPETITION in Enugu state.
2007 Femi Daniel and Tolu Odupe participated in the CHIEF DEBO AKANDE MEMORIAL AND MOOT COMPETITION, where Femi Daniel won the National best Oralist Award
2007 Femi Daniel represented the school in the PHILLIP JESSUP MOOT COURT COMPETITION NATIONAL Rounds. The school came second.
2007 Adeola Okesiji representing LASU at the NIGERIAN MODEL UNITED NATIONS (NIGIMUN) was chairman human rights commission
2008 BEST CHAMBER LASULAWS
2008 David Otunla and Femi Daniel represented the firm in the STUDENT ADVOCATE ASSOCIATION FINAL MOCK TRIAL, which the firm won.
2008 Aderomola Adeola and Adeola Okesigi represented the school at THE AFRICAN MOOT COMPETITION in South Africa in which they performed exceptionally
2008 Adeola Okesiji representing LASU at the NIGERIAN MODEL UNITED NATIONS (NIGIMUN) was BEST COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN.
2008 Atere Ayodeji representing LASU at the NIGERIAN MODEL UNITED NATION (NIGIMUN) was chairman United Nations Environmental Programme committee
2008 Gaji Temitope representing LASU at the NIGERIAN MODEL UNITED NATIONS (NIGIMUN) was chairman special committee on Youth Climate Change
2009 Otunla David represented LASU at the AFRICAN MOOT COURT COMPETITION, held in University of Lagos. His performance was nothing short of brilliant.
2009 Otunla David and Atere Ayodeji represented LASU at the TASLIM OLAWALE ELIAS MOOT COURT COMPETITION Lagos. LASU was third
2009 Equity Law Firm was finalist at the SAA MOOT COURT COMPETITION. David Otunla, Hundeyin Sesi, Ihenetu Chinedu and Alfred Pedetin represented the firm. Otunla was adjudged the most outstanding advocate in the final.
2010 Otunla David and Ayodeji Atere represented LASU at THE JESSUP INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION held in WASHINGTON DC, USA, where they exhibited scholarship in advocacy.
2010 Ihenetu Geoffrry Chinedu represented LASU at the BABCOCK UNIVERSITY NATIONAL LAW STUDENT DEBATE COMPETITION. LASU won the competition
2010 Ogunbote Daniel Damilare represented LASU at the WOLE OLANIPEKUN MOOT/MOCK TRIALCOMPETITION at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. LASU came second.
2010 Ihenetu Geoffrey Chinedu and Ogunbote Daniel represented LASU at the 2nd LAYI BABATUNDE ANNUAL NATIONAL LAW QUIZ COMPETITION, held at the University Of Ibadan. They emerged second in the competition. Daniel won a scholarship to the Nigerian Law School at the event.
2011 BEST CHAMBERS LASULAWS
2011 Ihenetu Geoffrey Chinedu and Ogunbote Damilare Daniel represented LASU at the UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD MONROE E PRICE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION, held at the UNITED KINGDOM; where they were adjudged BEST IN AFRICA & 14TH IN THE WORLD.
2011 Paul Udoh represented the firm at the GANI FAWEHINMI ANNUAL POST HUMOUROUS DEBATE COMPETITION amongst other Universities. He was named best Oralist.
2011 Odupe Daniel Timileyin and Paul Udoh represented the firm at the AFRICAN MOOT COURT COMPETITION LASU ROUNDS. The firm won the competition.
2011 Odupe Daniel Timileyin and Paul Udoh represented the firm at the AFRICAN MOOT COURT COMPETITION which took place at the UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA
2011 Tola Adebesin represented LASU at the Prima Strata 18th National Law Student Debate Competition held at Obafemi Awolowo University and he won the Best Oralist Award.

2012 Oke Ajibayo Daniel represented LASU at the ANNUAL LAYI BABATUNDE QUIZ COMPETITION that held at the UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN. LASU won the competition and Oke Ajibayo Daniel won a law school scholarship.
2012 Tola Adebesin and Nwankwo Roseline represented LASU at the National Rounds of the INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION that held at the BENSON IDAHOSA UNIVERSITY BENIN CITY, EDO STATE.
2012 Tobi Babalola and Yemi Omolaja represented Faculty of Law at the LASUSU DEBATE Competition. They won the Competition.
2013 Tola Adebesin and Fatai Adebanjo represented LASU at the JOHN KAYODE FAYEMI NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION that held at the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti. LASU came second.
2013 Muyideen Aderounmu and Tola Adebesin represented LASU at the CHIEF WOLE OLANIPEKUN NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION that held at the UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS. LASU came second.
2014 Mabawonku Olusegun, Babalola Tobi and Okuneye Samuel represented LASU at the CHIEF WOLE OLANIPEKUN MOOT COURT COMPETITION that held at the UNIVERSITY IFE (OAU)
2014 Mabawonku Olusegun and Babalola Tobi Micheal represented LASU at the Memorial Rounds of the 7th Gujarat Institute of International Study Moot Court Competition in New Delhi India
2014 Equity came second at the Intra Faculty moot. They were represented at different stages by Miss Erinfolami Jumble (100level) then, Aswagawy (300level) then, Ogabi praise (400level) then, Fathi (300level) then and Ojelabi John Olaitan (100 level) then.
2015 Edalere Idris represented LASU the 5th Wole Olanipekun moot and Mock Competition at University of Ife, Ile Ife, Osun State which LASU got to the Semi Final Rounds
2015 Ojelabi John Olaitan, Timilehin Edun Silvestre, Mariam Yussuf Participated at the Equity Price of Advocacy Organized by Equity Law Firm LASU.
