COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION IN NIGERIA: AN INTRODUCTION[1]

Arbitration is a mechanism for settling disputes. In a survey taken of Supreme Court of Nigeria it takes an average of six years for contested cases to go from filing to judgement [3] .
